I’m not sure what inspired this altered card idea. Now and then I like to give the shaman and his Wolverine-like claws something to sqewer. So, I figured why not one of these pesky little buggers. This is another alteration paying tribute to Mark Tedin’s awesome work. Some of you might recal the other alterations I created in the Mark Tedin theme Necropetence and Sol Ring.
As I’ve mentioned before I generally paint these using the same technique that I use on my large Magic paintings. The biggest difference is I paint with veeeeeeeeery small brushes and especially tiny dabs of paint. This alteration was rendered with acrylic and colored pencil.
