Description

Gabriel Knight was some of the earliest work I did after graduating art school. The first art I created for the Gabriel Knight trilogy was for the first release called “Sins of the Fathers”. I illustrated an entire painted, graphic novel that was included with that game release. A couple years later the art director at Seirra Online, Nathan Gams commissioned me to illustrate the cover art for Gabriel Knight 3. About the only thing I recall about what he was wanting was sort of a Pietà feel regarding the posing of Gabriel and the vampire and a palette in the vein of Gustav Klimt’s Portrait of Josef Pembaur.
