The History Channel’s — ANACHRONISM: Cleopatra VII, FIVE Signed-in-Gold, Playable Cards & Art Prints

Winning Bid: $82.00

Up for auction are five Cleopatra, signed-in-gold, playable cards. The cards in this set of five are: “Heqa and Was Scepters”, “Cleopatra VII”, “Ast”, “B’GSW”, “Golden Corselet”.

Also in this auction are signed archival prints of my three favorites (size 10.75 x 8.25″) on Velvet Fine Art paper .

* If the winner of the auction would prefer, the 5 signed cards on display can instead be swapped for a factory sealed set I received directly from the manufacturer 18 years ago instead of the loose, individually signed five. I’d also be happy to sign the exterior of the factory-sealed plastic, your choice.

For those of you that enjoy perusing snippets of the process, I’ve clipped the art descriptions I was given back in 2004 by Justin Walsh (the art director) below.

FREE shipping for both domestic and international winners.

Product Information

Description

Queen of a crumbling Egypt at only 18, Cleopatra used her wits and intelligence to pit the might of Rome against itself for over twenty years. She charmed both Julius Caesar and Marcus Antonius, outlived 3 sisters and a brother, ruled as the last pharaoh of Egypt and proclaimed herself the New Isis, Queen of Kings.

With Ash, goddess of death and rebirth watching over her, Cleopatra brings her cunning and wiles into the arena. With her power mandated in the Heqa and Was Scepters she bears, Cleopatra brings a new approach to combat in Anachronism™️.

Heqa and Was Scepters

Art Description:

Cleopatra on her throne, wearing her crown and wielding the Heqa and Was scepters (they are crossed across her chest). We should see only her upper torso, so as to focus on the scepters.

—————————————

Cleopatra VII

Art Description:

It’s Cleopatra. You no doubt have your own ideas;  do a few thumbnails and we’ll work from there

——————————–

Ast

Art Description:

Isis is the goddess of life, love and death. Go crazy, have fun

—————————————————-

B’GSW

Art Description:

Close up of an Egyptian dagger lying against white linen (other adornments on the linen as you see fit). An Egyptian cobra coils once around the handle. We should get the impression that the dagger has fallen. Symbols of Isis should feature on the dagger (vulture, throne; see deity references for more).

Golden Corselet

Art Description:

Cleopatra is in Rome with Caesar. She wears a golden corselet across her chest, which should be the focus of the piece. The images here are from Tutankhamun’s corselet. Hers should contain details based on the imagery associated with Isis.
